Irish traditional music as part of Rayback’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration!

Banthom House is a traditional Irish music band that also plays a mix of bluegrass and folk tunes. The band features Allegra Ludwig on fiddle and vocals, David Otto on mandolin and vocals, and Aaron Vega on guitar, cajon, and vocals. The trio of actor-musicians met while performing as cast members in Miners Alley Playhouse’s critically-acclaimed theatrical production of Once in 2019. Since their inception in 2020, the group has played to venues and delighted audiences across Colorado. They also released their debut EP, Banthom House, in February of 2022. Boulder’s Daily Camera lauded the five-track mini-album as “showcasing the group’s palpable chemistry, stellar musicianship and unadulterated passion for a genre that some would consider bygone,” and declared the band “a force to watch.” Adam Perry, music writer for Boulder Weekly and Westword magazine, also hailed Banthom House as “one of the most exciting new Boulder bands.”
